Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly agreed on a deal with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan as he closes in on a move to the San Siro this summer.

According to The Sun, the Belgian international star has struck a salary agreement of £180,000 on a weekly basis as he sets sights on a £75m transfer to Inter Milan during this summer’s transfer window.

Romelu Lukaku is the top transfer target for newly appointed Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte.

The former Chelsea manager has requested for the signing of Romelu Lukaku as he tries to make Inter Milan a force again at home and abroad.

The target for Conte and Inter Milan is to wrestle the league title from the grasp of his former club Juventus who have won the last eight editions.

Romelu Lukaku has been given the go-ahead to leave Manchester United this summer, but the Red Devils won’t sanction a deal for him until they recoup the £75m spent on him when he left Everton for Manchester United in 2017.

The 26-year-old scored 27 goals in all competitions for Manchester United in his first season at the club to emerge as the leading goalscorer before he suffered a topsy-turvy second season with just 15 goals in all competitions.
