Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is being lined up for a loan move for next season according to the Daily Mirror.

It was revealed that the player will join a new club on loan this summer to enable him get more experience under his belt.

Fellow London club Charlton Athletic are likely to be his destination with the Gunners keen to give him more first team opportunities.

The possibility of getting enough playing time at Arsenal next season is slim which explains why the club has decided to send him on loan.

Charlton Athletic could be a very good option for him after Arsenal teammate Krystian Bielik has a successful loan spell last season.

The Polish defender was a regular fixture in the Charlton Athletic side that sealed promotion to the English Championship last season by beating Sunderland 2-1 in the final of the League One Playoffs.

Bielik thrived under the guidance of Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer and Eddie Nketiah can do likewise.

Nketiah , 20, has made just eight appearances for Arsenal since he broke into the first team during the 2017/18 season.

He made five appearances for the Gunners in the Premier League last season with his first goal coming on the final day of last season during the 3-1 win over hosts Burnley.
