French giants AS Monaco want to sell the player permanently this summer and they have slapped a £40m transfer fee on him.
Youri Tielemans scored three goals and also provided five assists for Leicester in 13 games in the Premier League during the second half of last season.
Leicester City want to make the loan move a permanent one but they are not willing to pay the asking price from AS Monaco while another interested club Tottenham Hotspur have moved on to other targets.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big admirer of the AS Monaco midfielder and he could be a direct replacement for Paul Pogba who has publicly talked about leaving the Red Devils this summer.
