Three-time European champions Manchester United have reportedly made a last-ditch attempt to hijack the transfer of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann from under the noses of Barcelona.
According to The Sun, Manchester United are willing to spend £95m to sign Barcelona-bound Griezmann.
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann had earlier announced that he will end his five-year association with Atletico Madrid this summer and that prompted transfer links with clubs like French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Spanish champions Barcelona and Manchester United.

Barcelona are the overwhelming favourites to sign the French World Cup winner, especially after Atletico Madrid president Angel Gil Marin, confirmed an agreement with the Catalan giants earlier this year.
Antoine Griezmann signed for Spanish club Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014 as a direct replacement for Diego Costa who was sold to Premier League giants Chelsea in a £32m deal.
The 28-year-old joined Atletico Madrid from fellow Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad and he has been a key player for the Rojiblancos since his signing.
The signing of the French forward would be a major transfer coup for Manchester United who are looking to rebuild their squad after a disappointing Premier League season which ended in sixth position.
