The 25-year-old recently revealed that he has an offer from Europe on the table and that talks are progressing well ahead of the proposed transfer to that unnamed European club.
Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco was an Atletico Madrid player until February 2018 when he sealed a big money move to China.
He had scored 20 goals and also provided 11 assists for Atletico Madrid in 108 games in all competitions before his transfer to Asia.
His 20 goals include the strike against city rivals Real Madrid during the 2017 Champions League final.
Carrasco came off the bench to score the equaliser and force extra time for Atletico Madrid.
In the end, Carrasco and Atletico Madrid were beaten on penalties for Real Madrid to secure a second successive Champions League title.
