Manchester United Set To Pull Out From De Ligt Race
Three-time European champions Manchester United are on the verge of pulling out of the race to sign highly rated Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt according to new reports emanating from the Spanish media.
The Red Devils have made Dutch international centre back De Ligt their top transfer target for this summer and have submitted a lucrative offer for him.
It was revealed that Manchester United have made a £70m bid for him in addition to weekly wages of £350,000 but the player is yet to give an answer to the offer from the Red Devils.
According to a specific publication from Spanish media portal SPORT, Manchester United will pull out of the race to sign De Ligt if they don’t get a response from his camp by the end of the new week.

Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are also in the running to sign the 19-year-old defender.
Spanish champions Barcelona were said to have told the player that they won’t increase their offer for him and are increasingly confident that he would sign for the Nou Camp giants.
On their part, PSG is ready to double the weekly wages offered by Barcelona but the French giants are not as appealing to the player as what’s obtainable with their Spanish opposition.
