The English Premier League have been long-term suitors of German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig winger Timo Werner and it was expected that a move would be sanctioned in this summer transfer window but that will not happen.
Timo Werner is reported to have made up his mind to stay in the German Bundesliga by moving to Bayern Munich ahead of Liverpool as soon as the summer transfer window is opened.
The race for Timo Werner has been between Liverpool and Bayern Munich and it seems there is a German influence in the race which has not gone in the favour of the Reds team.
Liverpool are reportedly seeking for more additions in the team as they hope to land new players that will help challenge better for titles in the coming season and Timo Werner was on the wish list.
However, it has been reported that Bayern Munich have been told that they will have to meet with the £60 million asking price before they can land Timo Werner ahead of the coming season.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig will still continue to press for Timo Werner to remain at the cub as they are hoping to hand him a new and improved deal.
