Matthijs De Ligt Will Join Man Utd For One Reason
Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt will join Premier League giants Manchester United this summer for one reason according to experienced journalist Duncan Castles.
Young Dutch international De Ligt has emerged as a top transfer target for Manchester United who are desperate to sign a quality centre back to solve their glaring defensive problems from the just concluded season.
The Red Devils conceded 54 goals in just 38 Premier League games and that ultimately affected their Champions League hopes as they failed to qualify as a result of their sixth-placed finish.
According to Duncan Castles of The Times, Matthijs De Ligt will only join the Red Devils for money this summer ahead of other interested clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Spanish champions Barcelona were the overwhelming favourites for De Ligt as at last week but the financial demands of his agent Mino Raiola has made Manchester United the new favourites to sign him.
Manchester United are said to be ready to meet his huge financial demands.
The Premier League giants have offered him a salary package worth £350,000 on a weekly basis in addition to the transfer fee of around £70m.
Apart from Manchester United and Barcelona, German champions Barcelona are also interested in the 19-year-old defender.
