Italian Serie A giants Lazio have joined the race to sign Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck this summer.
This is according to the publication from the Sunday Sun which claimed that the Italians are the new entrant on the list of clubs interested in a free transfer move for Welbeck who will be out of contract at Arsenal this summer.
He has few weeks left on his current deal with the Gunners having joined them shortly after the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.
Danny Welbeck signed for Arsenal in a deal reported to be around £16m.
