Two Spanish La Liga clubs are plotting a summer move for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao according to widespread reports coming out of the media in France.
Former Manchester United star Falcao was the star player for AS Monaco during a difficult season which ended on Friday with a 2-0 loss at OGC Nice and he could leave the club this summer.
Falcao scored 15 league goals as Monaco finished just two points above the relegation zone.
According to popular French transfer news portal L’Equipe, Atletico Madrid and Valencia are interested in a move for the Colombian international striker.
The 33-year-old has previously played for Atletico Madrid and he could return to the club during this summer’s transfer window.
Radamel Falcao spent two years at the Spanish La Liga club between 2011 and 2013.
He won the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup during his time at Atletico Madrid and also established himself as one of the most feared strikers on the world football stage.
Radamel Falcao joined French giants AS Monaco in a big money move in the summer of 2013 before a serious knee injury curtailed his progress.
He spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Manchester United before joining Chelsea on another loan deal in the next campaign.
Falcao returned to AS Monaco in 2016 and he has established himself as their leader since then.
