Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has urged the Bavarian giants to make a move for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane amidst talks over his long-term future at the Etihad Stadium.
At a press conference on Wednesday via Goal, Robert Lewandowski talked about his desire to play alongside Leroy Sane.
The German international winger has been linked with a move away from Manchester City with two years left on his contract.
Manchester City are prepared to sell him if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal with the Citizens not prepared to take the risk of the player running down his contract till next summer or the summer of 2021 when he’ll be a free agent.
He has been linked with a return to Germany with Bayern Munich as well as a move to North London giants Arsenal.
Leroy Sane became a Manchester City player in the summer of 2016 after joining from German Bundesliga club Schalke 04.
The 23-year-old had been a big part of the successes recorded by Manchester City in the last two seasons.
Sane was instrumental to the Manchester City team that won both the Premier League and the Carabao Cup last season before playing his part in the domestic treble triumph this season.
He scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in 31 appearances in the Premier League this term.
