Confirmed: Crystal Palace Slap £50m Transfer Fee On Arsenal Target Aaron Bissaka
South London giants Crystal Palace have reportedly slapped a big transfer fee on highly rated defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in their quest to ward off the interest of other clubs like North London giants Arsenal.
This is according to the specific publication from the London Evening Standard which claimed that Crystal Palace are taking a hard stance on Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
It was revealed that Crystal Palace have slapped a £50m transfer fee on the England junior international.
Arsenal are not the only club interested in a move for the Crystal Palace right-back.
Premier League champions Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have also previously indicated their interest in the 21-year-old defender.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be the long-term replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta on the right side of the defence at Chelsea.
He broke into the Crystal Palace XI at the start of the season and never looked back afterwards.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka displaced the experienced Joel Ward as the first choice right-back at Selhurst Park.
He churned out several impressive performances for the Eagles throughout the course of the just concluded Premier League season and was rightly rewarded with the Player of the Season Award at Crystal Palace ahead of more established professionals like the skillful duo of Ivorian international Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend.
