There are fears that the West London outfit Chelsea would be sold anytime from now as reports have emerged that talks are already ongoing to have a deal dusted.
English Petrochemical billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, currently the UK’s richest man and has been tipped to buy Chelsea Football Club as he has refused to rule out his interest.
There have been a number of speculations in the past that there are talks to have the club sold with a number of billionaires being linked but the Blues owner and Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has consistently refuted the claim as he severely affirmed his commitment to keep the club and continue with the running culture and policy which has held the club high.
RT reports that Jim Ratcliffe, who is valued at $25 billion said he will never say no to any chance of owning the football club.
Jim Ratcliffe also confirmed that there have been discussions with the current Chelsea owner but he is unsure about when it would be ended as agreements have not been reached over the deal.
There is no doubt that the Chelsea owner has at some points considered the sale of the club, especially at points when the club do not deliver good results and win titles.
The Champions League is Roman Abramovich’s major wish and interest but he has had the opportunity just once and it has never shown up again.
It is unclear when the discussions for the sale of the club will end, but it is suggested that it would not happen anytime soon.
