Future Target: Arsenal Star Reveals Boca Juniors Desire
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has confessed that he would like to play for Argentine giants Boca Juniors later in his football career.
The petite midfielder made the admission in his recent interview as monitored by popular English news portal Daily Star.
According to him, playing in the colours of Boca Juniors is a lifelong dream.
Lucas Torreira further revealed that it would be difficult for him to turn down an opportunity to play for Boca Juniors.
Arsenal fans don’t have to worry about his commitment for the long haul having put pen to papers on a long-term deal when he joined the Gunners last summer.
The Gunners signed Uruguayan international Torreira from Italian Serie A club Sampdoria at the start of this season in a deal reported to be around £26m.
Arsenal were told to pay his transfer fee in three installments and the defensive midfielder has played a major part in the Gunners run to the Europa League final this term.
Lucas Torreira has lived up to expectations in the colours of the North Londoners and the midfielder had been one of the best Arsenal players this season especially in the first half of this campaign.
He can win a trophy in his first season as an Arsenal player when the Gunners face London rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan later this month
