Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid have decided to keep Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata at the club on a permanent basis after a 6-month loan spell already spent at the club.
The West London outfit Chelsea had sent the former Real Madrid forward out on loan after he failed to impress in the manager Maurizio Sarri team. He was immediately replaced by Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain who joined the Stamford Bridge from the Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
Alvaro Morata who was less of performance at the Stamford Bridge seems to have found his mojo in the Spanish capital as Atletico Madrid are keen to keep him at the club on a permanent deal having had the option in the loan deal.
Atletico Madrid have arrived at the decision with fears that they could part ways with Antonie Griezmann who could be on his way to Real Madrid or Barcelona as soon as the summer window is opened.
However, it is suggested that Alvaro Morata failed to adapt with life in England and the style of the English Premier League after struggling for two years.
It is, therefore, suggested that he would fit in the Atletico Madrid team which already seems like home to him.
