Antonie Griezmann has now bid farewell to Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid and their fans as he is set for a big challenge in his career.

In his farewell message to his club, Antonie Griezmann noted that the decision to leave the club remains a difficult one but he is left with no choice than to go with the way he feels.

The star striker has therefore been linked with a switch to another La Liga outfit Barcelona bit no official announcement has been made to that effect.

However, ESPN pundit Craig Burley is of the opinion that the World Cup winner could still end up in the English Premier League with Liverpool as he noted that he would be a big boost and an addition to the Anfield.

According to him, Liverpool have got a very big side which fits Antonie Griezmann as they hope to land a world class player who will come to help the team and also bring in the competition for Brazilain international Antonio Griezmann in the attack.

Antoine Griezmann has got a release clause of £140 million with the journalist tipping the Merseyside outfit to be able to meet with the bargain price.

Meanwhile, the decision would be left for manager Jurgen Klopp to make as he is keen to have his squad get better for next season’s challenge while he has got the full support of his management.
