Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi could leave the Gunners in the upcoming transfer window if reports coming out of the Italian media are anything to go by.
Mustafi is said to be attracting interest from one of the big clubs in Italy while his Arsenal future is far from being assured.
Arsenal could sell him in the summer to raise funds for new players ahead of next season.
The Gunners have identified areas like left-back, right-wing, centre back for strengthening and they might need to raise funds with just £45m available for new players.
The potential sale of players like Mustafi could hold the key for Arsenal in their bid to sign quality players to boost the team.
According to the publication from Tuttosport, AC Milan CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Ivan Gazidis is interested in signing the aforementioned Mustafi.
It was revealed that he wants to take Mustafi to AC Milan.
Gazidis was the CEO at Arsenal when they splashed the huge sum of £35m on his transfer from Spanish La Liga club Valencia.
Shkrodan Mustafi had a fantastic start to his Arsenal career in 2016 but he has not been able to sustain it.
He’s also a World Cup winner after playing his part in the German triumph at the 2014 edition in Brazil.
