Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has revealed that he will leave the club at the end of this season.
The Spanish international star made this known via a farewell video posted on the official Twitter handle of Manchester United.
In his pre-match press conference on Friday morning ahead of the last game of the season, Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that Ander Herrera will inform the public of his next destination.
Solskjaer didn’t confirm whether Ander Herrera will be involved in the last game of the season, a home game against already relegated Cardiff City in the Premier League.
The Norwegian tactician told reporters that the team has not been picked for the league game against the Welsh club.
Ander Herrera will leave Manchester United at the end of his contract this summer after both parties failed to agree on a new deal.
Manchester United wanted to keep the Spaniard at the club but they were not ready to meet his financial demands with reports claiming that he will join French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on a free transfer in the coming weeks.
Ander Herrera joined Manchester United from Spanish La Liga club Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2014 and he has played 189 times for the club in five years.
