Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he will hold talks with goalkeeper David De Gea with the former Atletico Madrid shot stopper in the spotlight for contract talks breakdown and high-profile errors.

Solskjaer told reporters after the Chelsea game on Sunday evening that he will have a conversation with De Gea after the Spanish international goalkeeper was responsible for the goal conceded by Manchester United.

The Red Devils needed to win the Premier League game with Chelsea at home and they were well on their way when former Blues player Juan Manuel Mata gave Manchester United an early lead before the mistake from David De Gea.

Marcos Alonso pounced on a mistake from De Gea to level proceedings for Chelsea after the Spanish shot-stopper spilled a straightforward shot from Blues defender Antonio Rudiger.

David De Gea has been making some high-profile errors in recent weeks and the situation has been linked to his contract negotiations with the club.

He has one year left on his current deal at Manchester United but the two parties have so far failed to agree on a new contract thus leading to doubts over his future with clubs like Juventus and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) keen on him.
