The English Premier League outfit Liverpool are already getting set to host Spanish La Liga outfit in the semi-finals of the Champions League later this week.

The Reds team suffered an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the Camp Nou in the first leg of the semi-finals and will hope to do the magic to upturn the result to see the second consecutive Champions League finals in two seasons.

However, the manager Jurgen Klopp team have been handed a major advantage as they have learned that France international forward Ousmane Dembele will be missing in the game. This means that the force of the Barcelona attack would be reduced.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde revealed that Ousmane Dembele will not be available on Tuesday, noting that he is a good player and would be a big loss to the team ahead of the big encounter.

Meanwhile, the Spanish La Liga side can still boast of Argentina star Lionel Messi who remains the major threat in the game as he scored two goals in the first leg.

Howbeit, defender Virgil Van Dijk has got another opportunity to stand tall against Lionel Messi in the second leg by stopping his threat to goals at the Anfield.
