The Emerging reports claim that West London outfit Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to keep Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain at the Stamford Bridge in the coming season.
Gonzalo Higuain joined the Blues team in the January winter transfer window after Spanish star Alvaro Morata left the club to Atletico Madrid with the hope that he would bring a sharp cutting edge in the Blues attack.
The Blues chiefs are reported to have opposed the initial coming of Gonzalo Higuain as he was not in the best form with Serie A outfit AC Milan while on loan but the former Napoli boss insisted on bringing him to the club.
There are, therefore, suggestions that Gonzalo Higuain has not made any meaningful impact with the fans hoping that he would leave at the end of the season but the manager has a different plan.
It is claimed that he would seek the permission to keep Gonzalo Higuain at the club for the coming season as he still has the faith that the Argentina international will deliver goals for the club.
More so, the Blues team have got transfer ban which will not allow them to bring in new players, hence the old players have to stay.
