Three players in the Arsenal squad will leave the club this summer when their respective contracts expire.
The players’ exit from the club was confirmed on Sunday evening shortly after the last league game at the Emirates Stadium this season.
The Arsenal players namely Aaron Ramsey, Petr Cech and Danny Welbeck will leave the club in the summer and the trio were given a proper sendoff after the Brighton game.
Welsh international Ramsey will join Italian champions Juventus on a free transfer this summer having already signed a pre-contract agreement with the Old Lady.
The 28-year-old has agreed on a four-year deal with Juventus and he will earn around £400,000 on a weekly basis thus becoming the highest earner amongst the British players.
Retired Czech Republic international shot stopper Petr Cech will also leave Arsenal at the end of this season after announcing his retirement from football earlier in this campaign.
England international Danny Welbeck will also leave the Gunners this summer after an injury-hit stay in North London.
The former Manchester United player will become a free agent this summer.
The Arsenal players were unable to give them a proper sendoff following the disappointing 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion at home.
The result ended the Gunners’ hopes of finishing this season in the Premier League top four.
