Arsenal Fail In £26m Bid For AS Roma Winger

Three-time Premier League winners Arsenal have made a bid for AS Roma winger Cengiz Under according to reports emanating from the media in the European nation of Italy.
Italian media outlet Calciomercato say that the Gunners have made a £26m ($34m) bid for the Turkish international player.
It was revealed that the Italian capital club wants £35m ($46m) for the player.
Other Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested in him according to the aforementioned report.
Cengiz Under has become an important squad member of the AS Roma squad since he joined the club at the start of last season.
The 21-year-old signed for AS Roma from Turkish Super Lig club Istanbul Basaksehir in the summer of 2017.
Cengiz Under helped Roma to the last four in the Champions League before they were eliminated by Premier League title contenders Liverpool.
He could be the direct replacement for Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck who’s currently injured with a serious ankle injury from the Europa League game with Sporting Lisbon in November.
Welbeck could leave the club in the summer when his Arsenal contract expires.
Arsenal are in the transfer market for a forward/winger dating back to last month when they tried to sign Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic.
