English Premier League outfit Liverpool suffered a 3-0 hammering in the hands of Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona during the Champions League semi-finals clash at the Camp Nou.

The defeat suffered by the Reds team is a major setback as it could be their end for this season’s Champions League knowing that they are already 3 goals down and how difficult it will be to upturn it at the Anfield in the second leg.

However, Lionel Messi has hinted his team that they cannot afford to go to sleep after the win because the Jurgen Klopp team cannot be underrated at the Anfield.

The Argentina international noted that 3 goals are good for the team but it has not secured them a qualification as he stressed that there is still a lot of work to do.

Meanwhile, the manager Jurgen Klopp team have got a solid attacking side that has the ability to deliver a number of goals in the second leg.

Egyptian international Mohamed Salah and Senegal star Sadio Mane, addition to Brazilian international Roberto Firmino have shown in the past that they can score a lot of goals.

Howbeit, the Reds team will need to deliver four goals un-replied to be a belt to see the Champions League finals.
