Merseyside outfit Liverpool have got one of the best defences in the English Premier League and Europe at large especially with the presence of Netherlands international Virgil Van Dijk.

The star central defender has been impressive with big records for the Jurgen Klopp side since joining the Anfield from Southampton.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted that he has no plans to tamper with the defence as he hopes to forge ahead with them in the coming season.

This, therefore, means that he will not press for a new defender as soon as the summer transfer window is opened because he intends to keep his backline together for the long term.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager hinted that he will do all it takes to ensure that they all spend their remaining football career at the Anfield, noting that it will be cool and will help the club go forward.

The Jurgen Klopp defence led by the former Southampton central defender have conceded only 19 goals in 32 league games which is the reason why they are in contention for the title against Man City.

However, the reds team will hope to be the winner at the end of the day so as to break the deadlock and bring the EPL title to the Anfield.
