Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly prepared to pay for forward Alexis Sanchez to leave the club when the transfer window reopens this summer.

This is according to the publication from popular English news platform Daily Mail which claimed that the Red Devils are prepared to pay half of his contract at the club for him to leave the Theatre of Dreams this summer.

He has a £26m contract left on his current deal with Manchester United and the Red Devils want to sell him abroad.

In addition, the Red Devils have concluded plans to pay £13m for the Chilean international to leave Manchester United after just 18 months.

Alexis Sanchez has been an expensive flop at Manchester United whom he joined from Premier League rivals Arsenal at the start of last year.

He signed for the Red Devils in a swap deal which saw Armenian international playmaker Henrik Mkhitaryan move in the other direction.

Sanchez has struggled for form at Manchester United and he has not performed near his current wages which is said to be around £500,000 on a weekly basis.

The Chilean international has scored just two goals for Manchester United in all competitions with just one league goal scored all season.
