The English Premier League outfit Chelsea are reported to be locked in talks with Brazilian international David Luiz over a new contract to have him stay much longer at the club.
David Luiz’s contract with the Blues team is set to come to an end and there has not been an agreement over a new deal as he has demanded for more than a year extension.
Chelsea have got a transfer policy which stops the club from handing more than a year contract extension to players who are over 30 but David Luiz could now be an exception with the club keen on having him around until the coming season.

CThe Blues have been handed a ban from two transfer window which means that if David Luiz leaves the club, there will not be a replacement for him.
However, manager Maurizio Sarri has revealed that the club is already in talks with the former PSG defender as they will want him around in the coming season.
Maurizio Sarri hailed David Luiz for having a strong mentality and philosophy which the club will like to enjoy over the next two years.
Meanwhile, the Blues team are hoping that the FIFA ban can be unturned before the coming summer transfer window.
