Deal On: Man Utd Scout Benfica Duo During League Win

Premier League giants Manchester United had scouts in attendance for two of Benfica players during their league win over Sporting Braga at the weekend.

This is according to the publication from Portuguese media outlet O Jogo

It was revealed that Marcel Bout was in attendance to run the rule over Benfica stars Ruben Dias and Joao Felix.

Marcel Bout is the head of scout at Manchester United.

He was in attendance as Ruben Dias scored to help Benfica to a 4-1 away win over hosts Sporting Braga.

The victory was enough to take Benfica to the top of the Portuguese Super League table ahead of defending champions FC Porto.

Ruben Dias and Joao Felix have been attracting the interest of a lot of European clubs and Manchester United happen to be one of the interested major European sides.

Manchester United are desperate to rebuild their playing squad in the summer after an average season.

The Red Devils have had one of their worst seasons in recent memory, especially in the Premier League.

They made their worst start under sacked manager Jose Mourinho but his replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been able to steady the ship to put the Red Devils in contention for a Champions League place at the end of the season.
