Premier League giants Manchester United are said to be plotting a big money move for Lille attacker Nicolas Pepe ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
According to the Sunday Express, a major rebuilding job will take place at Manchester United at the end of this current campaign with several incoming and outgoings expected and Lille star Nicolas Pepe could be one of the players to sign for the Red Devils.
It was revealed that Manchester United are plotting a summer transfer for the 23-year-old Ivorian international though they will have to contend with other major European clubs.
Several European sides have shown interest in signing Pepe who could have joined Premier League rivals Arsenal in January but the Gunners were unable to get a deal over the line because of lack of funds.
Inter Milan, German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and the Spanish duo of Real Madrid and Barcelona are some of the clubs to have been linked with the in-form Pepe.
The Ivorian attacker has scored 19 league goals in the top flight of French football this term in addition to providing 11 assists.
Only Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Kylian Mbappe (30 goals) has scored more goals than Pepe in French Ligue 1 this season.
