Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Fraser has admitted that transfer talks linking him with a move away from the South Coast club are a distraction.
The Scottish national team player said this in an interview with BBC Scotland as he pointed out that his focus in on doing well with Bournemouth.
Ryan Fraser also told reporters that he’s happy with life on the South Coast amidst the interest from other Premier League clubs especially North London giants Arsenal.
The Gunners are said to be monitoring his situation at Bournemouth with the aim of swooping for him this summer.
In an earlier interview, Ryan Fraser talked about his delight at the transfer links involving him and that the interest from other clubs shows that he’s doing something right.
Ryan Fraser has been in fantastic form for Bournemouth since the start of the season.
He has scored seven goals and provided 11 assists for Bournemouth in the Premier League this term.
Fraser joined the Cherries from Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen for just £400,000 and he has been a wonderful servant for the club.
He has a year left on his current contract with Bournemouth and they could cash in on him this summer to avoid losing him for free when his deal expires in 2020.
