West London outfit Chelsea are hoping to seal a permanent deal for Real Madrid star Mateo Kovacic who is currently on loan at the Stamford Bridge.
It has not been a perfect loan spell for Mateo Kovacic but the West London outfit are considering that be would be better to remain at the club because of their possibility of not securing a new player in the coming summer window is very unlikely.
Chelsea were handed a ban for the next two transfer window which means they will not be registering any new player until the 2020 summer transfer window after they were found to have gone against the FIFA rule on minor foreign players.
However, Mateo Kovacic could be a major boost for the Blues team in the coming season as there will be more options for manager Maurizio Sarri should he remain as the head coach of the team.
Meanwhile, Mateo Kovacic has had the opportunity of securing 45 appearances for the West London outfit to make him a player loved by the Italian boss.
There are therefore suggestions that he would be allowed to leave the Spanish capital at the end of the season if the right offer is submitted.
