Three-time European champions Manchester United have decided to offload two of their best players to raise money for their rebuilding job this summer.

This is according to the publication from popular English media portal Daily Mirror which claimed that the Red Devils want to offload both Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

Manchester United have had an average season and are expected to rebuild their ailing squad this summer.

Despite their questionable form, the Red Devils still have a good opportunity to make the top four at the end of the season.

Manchester United are just three points adrift of Chelsea in fourth place and they face the Stamford Bridge outfit later on Sunday with the opportunity to close the gap to them.

Only the top four teams will qualify for the Champions League next season.

The two aforementioned Manchester United players have been linked with other major European clubs and the club believes that around £200m can be raised from their exits this summer.

Paul Pogba has been heavily touted as a possible transfer addition for Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid while Belgian international striker Lukaku has been linked with a move to the Italian Serie A with clubs like Inter Milan and Champions Juventus.
