The transfer priority at Manchester United ahead of this summer’s transfer window has been revealed.

According to the publication from the Daily Mirror, the top priority for the Red Devils is to sort out the futures of both Paul Pogba and David De Gea.

Both Pogba and De Gea have been linked with Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid ahead of the summer.

Manchester United recognise that the two players are key members of the playing personnel at the club and they are willing to keep them for the long haul.

Paul Pogba has two years left on his present deal at Manchester United with the option of another year, while De Gea has a year left.

French World Cup winner Pogba cut a forlorn figure earlier in the season under former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho but his form has improved dramatically since former club striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the manager in December.

He has scored 10 goals in all competitions for Manchester United since Solskjaer became the manager in December.

The former Juventus midfielder has been heavily linked with the summer rebuilding job at Real Madrid after admitting that a transfer to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu will be too hard to resist.

De Gea has also flirted with the idea of joining Real Madrid in the past.
