Merseyside outfit Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has announced a major boost after claiming that England international Joe Gomez might be welcomed to the team when they file out against Porto later on Wednesday.

The Reds team had secured a 2-0 win in the first leg of the competition with the hope that they can fly again for the second leg to be able to move ahead of the semi-finals.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has therefore hinted that the club have secured a boost by having Joe Gomez for the game as he stated that he could be allowed to start the game or could come from the bench.

However, the England international was a major part of the Jurgen Klopp team and formed a perfect partnership with Netherland international Virgil Van Dijk where they conceded only a few goals but he has been out of action since December owing to an injury he sustained.

Meanwhile, Joe Gomez was replaced by Joel Matip who has provided a good cover but the former Borussia Dortmund boss has now stated that the 21-year-old is back to the team and doing great as he stated that he has been improving fast since he returned from the injury.
