West London outfit Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has affirmed that his team do not care about the threat posed by Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk at the Reds defence ahead of their Sunday meeting.

The West London outfit are set to storm the Anfield for a game against Liverpool in an all-important fixture with the Reds team tipped to win because of their home advantage and their solid defence.

But that will not be a problem to the Blues, according to the former Arsenal player who stated that the Virgil Van Dijk will not be scared because his side have got all it takes to keep him silent.

Virgil Van Dijk joined the Reds about a year ago and has fully established himself as a major part of the team but most importantly, he is one of the best the club has got to boast of.

Olivier Giroud, therefore, hopes to face the former Southampton defender and come out victorious as he noted that he has played against him a number of times but admits that he is a tough player who will be difficult to come by.

However, both teams are looking forward to winning the game as they have big need of the three points.
