English Premier League outfit Liverpool have been threatened by Porto star Pepe ahead of their Champions League tie after he claims that he would ensure another win against the Reds after the last season’s finals defeat.

Pepe has won three Champions League titles while he was with Real Madrid and has boasted that he would win the fourth by defeating Liverpool to forge ahead.

It would be recalled that Porto were defeated on an aggregate of 5-0 by the Merseyside outfit in the round of 16 last season when they both clashed and there are fears that there could be a repeat of this but Pepe is banking on the fact that he has been with Real Madrid that had their way over Liverpool last year.

Pepe noted that Liverpool have to be respected because they play in their own style and are a good side but his team will just be their self and ensure they go straight with a win.

However, the Reds team have not lost in 12 of their home games this season in the Premier League which makes them a formidable side against Porto as they seek to have a repeat of last season’s feat by getting to the finals.
