Manager Jurgen Klopp has apologized to fans after seeing Jordan Henderson pull an impressive performance in their 2-0 win against Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals clash on Tuesday night.

Henderson was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch to prove his form and ability once again in the manager Jurgen Klopp team.

The best of Jordan Henderson was more glaring for all to see because of the new role he was asked to play by the German manager. The star player was handed an advanced midfield role ahead of Fabinho and the fans could not believe his superb performance that night.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss has therefore apologized to the fans noting that he has not been playing the player in that position for over a year, admitting that he is needed at that role to be able to give in his best.

However, the Reds team now stand a better chance of qualifying o the semi-final as they are now 2 goals ahead of their second game away from home.

The winner between the Liverpool game will meet the winner between Barcelona and Man United at the next round as the Merseyside outfit are keen on winning a double this season.
