Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is edging closer to the exit door after the latest update from his contract saga with the club.

In a chat with media outlet ABC, Ander Herrera revealed that he’s not close to agreeing on a new contract with the club and that they have different terms on his contract extension at Old Trafford.

Ander Herrera has two months left on his current deal with Manchester United and he’s in a position to agree to any free transfer deal with foreign clubs ahead of this summer.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously talked about the need to keep Ander Herrera at the club beyond this summer.

The 29-year-old has been a regular fixture in the Manchester United team under the managerial trio of Louis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since his transfer to the club in 2014.

Ander Herrera put pen to paper on a five-year deal upon joining Manchester United in the summer of 2014 and he has few months left on that contract.

Recent reports claimed that French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have offered the Manchester United a three-year contract free transfer move and that the Spanish international is seriously thinking about the offer.
