Ronaldo Returns To Training Ahead Of Ajax Clash

Juventus have been handed a big injury boost ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal first leg clash with Ajax Amsterdam on Wednesday following the news that star player Cristiano Ronaldo is back in training.

Ajax host Juventus at the Amsterdam Arena in the first meeting between the two teams this season and there were doubts whether Ronaldo would be involved in the game following his latest muscular injury.
The 34-year-old picked up the injury while his Portugal side faced Serbia in a Euro 2020 qualifier.

The former Manchester United player has missed the last three games for Juventus because of the injury.

Ronaldo is back to training and he’s expected to take his place in the Juventus team for the away game against Ajax Amsterdam.

He almost single-handedly dragged the Old Lady into the quarterfinals after his heroics against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a treble to give the Italians a 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in their Champions League last 16 second leg clash to edge his team into the quarterfinals with a 3-2 aggregate win.

Since his club-record move from Real Madrid last summer, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 24 goals for the Old Lady in all competitions with 19 goals coming in the Italian Serie A.
