Second Liverpool defender likely to leave

There are fears that Merseyside outfit Liverpool will lose another defender in the coming summer transfer window after it is claimed that Dejan Lovren is being wanted at the Italian Serie A by a number of clubs.

Dejan Lovren is the second defender after Alberto Moreno to be linked away from the club as a result of lack of playing time under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Alberto Moreno made efforts in the last January winter transfer window but it did not work through. He is reported to be pushing for a move ahead of this coming summer window with claims that he has agreed on a deal with Italian Serie A outfit Lazio while Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are also linked.

However, it is claimed that Dejan Lovren is unhappy as he has been favoured behind Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the manager Jurgen Klopp team which makes want to quit to where he can be able to secure regular playing time.

Dejan Lovren has so far enjoyed 166 appearances at the Anfield since his £20 million transfer in 2014 and he is interested in having a stop at this point despite having 2 years left to the end of his contract with Liverpool.
