Chelsea player Mateo Kovacic is of the opinion that there is no need to worry about the Sarri-ball system of play introduced by manager Maurizio Sarri at the Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that it is not working.
The Italian boss joined the West London outfit in the last summer transfer window from Italian Serie A outfit Napoli and introduced a style of play which was tagged Sarri-ball. It proved to be working at his start of his management at the club, but that cannot be said of him now because he is struggling to win games.
A number of pundits have blamed the inability of the team to win games to the Italian manager’s style which is not working for the team.
But Mateo Kovacic, who is on loan from Real Madrid, has stated that there is no need to worry because his team will definitely end the season on a good note either with a good pattern or not.
According to him, the players have now realized that they still stand a chance of winning a trophy this season and qualify to the Champions League with a top-four finish.
He, therefore, stressed that he is positive that the mission of the team this season would be achieved at the end of the day.
The future of this Chelsea loannee revealed by brother
It has now been confirmed that Gonzalo Higuain will not be staying at the Stamford Bridge after his loan deal.
It was earlier expected that the West London outfit will take up the option of keeping the Argentina international on a permanent deal but his agent who is also his brother Nicolas said the striker only wants to play for Juventus in Italy.
He made this claim while reacting to interest from AS Roma for the star striker as he stressed that the 31-year-old still has a contract with the Old Lady.
This leaves the Blues team with limited options in the attack ahead of the coming season as they might not be able to bring in a replacement in this summer window.
Chelsea have been handed a transfer ban that stops them from registering new players in the next two transfer windows and that has not been upturned as at the time of writing this report.
The Blues team will be left with no option than to rely on France international Olivier Giroud and also return Tammy Abraham to the team from his loan spell with Aston Villa.
However, Chelsea will have to sort out having a new manager as Maurizio Sarri might be on his way out.
Sarri’s dad makes claim on Juventus move
The father of Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, who is an ex-cyclist said he hopes his son is able to land the deal as Juventus manager this summer window
Ex-cyclist Amerigo is of the opinion that the future of his son is still uncertain despite being linked already as he insists that his son is also unsure at the moment.
Amerigo told Ilbianconero.com that the former Napoli boss is yet to be confirmed as Juventus manager, hence he is still a Chelsea coach until an official announcement is made but he hinted that he wishes his son returns to Italy for the coming season.
However, Maurizio Sarri only joined the West London outfit in the last summer transfer window and that could be the end for him after just a year as he had a rough reign at the Stamford Bridge, ranging from inconsistent results and issues with fans.
Juventus had just parted ways with their manager Max Allegri after he failed to deliver a Champions League even after he won the Serie A title in the last campaign.
Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri is expected to be confirmed in coming days after claims that an agreement has been reached between the Old Lady and the Blues team.
Jose Mourinho could return to Stamford Bridge
This is not the news Chelsea fans might be expecting as it is far from what should be believed but former manager Jose Mourinho is already being linked for a shock return to Stamford Bridge.
It is no longer news that Chelsea are already in the market for a new manager as they are set to part ways with manager Maurizio Sarri who seems to have agreed on a new deal with Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
Maurizio Sarri did not find his stay at the West London outfit palatable and he would not think twice as he informed the club of his willingness to leave.
Former player Frank Lampard has been linked with a return to the Stamford Bridge to take charge of the club with claims that talks are ongoing and it could be finalized any moment from now.
Despite the positives about his reported return, it has been claimed that former manager Jose Mourinho is available for the job and that means he would be returning for the third spell.
This will come with mixed feelings from the fans as some will no longer desire to have the Portuguese manager return again.
Jose Mourinho was sacked as Man United boss in December last year and he has since been without a job with claims that he had turned down offers because the clubs have no required ambition.
Chelsea fulfilling transfer promise with Brazilian international
West London outfit Chelsea are now fulfilling their promise to keep most of their players at the club in this summer transfer window ahead of the coming season.
The Blues were forced to make this decision as they have been handed a ban which will stop them from doing any deal in the next two transfer windows for going against the rules.
This development has made Chelsea go against their policy in handing new deals to players who are over 30 years.
The Blues are known to give just a year contract extension to players who are over 30 but there has to be an exemption this time, as it is known that Willian is on the verge of signing a new two-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Willian already has an offer from Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona but Chelsea are not ready to let him go because of the difficulty in having him replaced.
Therefore, the promise to keep most of their players is already being kept as Belgium international Eden Hazard is the only exemption to the rule.
However, Chelsea are still hoping that they will have their transfer ban upturned as they hope to appeal it before the end of the summer transfer window.
No more Chelsea deal for Max Allegri
There are hints that West London outfit Chelsea are no more running for former Juventus manager Max Allegri as a potential replacement for Italian manager Maurizio Sarri in this summer transfer window.
Max Allegri parted ways with the Old Lady after the just concluded season by delivering the Serie A title but he was unable to secure his dream of lifting the Champions League title with the club after many failed attempts.
It is, therefore, claimed that he is being wanted by the Blues as Chelsea are also parting ways with Maurizio Sarri as well.

The former Napoli boss is reported to have agreed to a deal with Juventus as Max Allegri’s replacement which makes the job available at the Stamford Bridge.
Max Allegri will no longer be joining Chelsea as he has revealed that he will not be picking any job for now but will seek to take a vacation to be with his family.
According to the Italian manager, his last 16 years has been centrifuge and will need to take a break to be with friends and family before having his batteries recharged to return back after another season.
Meanwhile, Frank Lampard have been tipped as a favourite for the job should Sarri eventually leaves the club.
Chelsea agree deal for Maurizio Sarri
West London outfit Chelsea are reported to have reached an agreement with Italian Serie A outfit Juventus over manager Maurizio Sarri.
Maurizio Sarri is on the verge to be announced as Juventus manager after just one season at Stamford Bridge to replace Max Allegri who resigned his job at the end of the just-concluded season.
It is claimed that the Old Lady officials met with the Blues management and agreed to pay the £5 million compensation that was claimed before allowing Maurizio Sarri to return to Italy.
It would be recalled that Juventus were not interested in paying such an amount for the star former Napoli boss but they were forced to after the intervention of a third party.
Juventus will hope that Maurizio Sarri win bring in his Sarriball style and also deliver titles in the coming season but his major target should be the Champions League.
Back at Chelsea, he won the Europa League finals and finished third in the Premier League table to make his one year stay at Stamford Bridge a successful one.
Unfortunately, Maurizio Sarri was not on the good books of the fans and that was unacceptable to the club owner Roman Abramovich who also planned to sack him earlier in the course of the league.
Could this 40-year-old be Chelsea’s next coach
There are suggestions that former player and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard could be the next manager at the Stamford Bridge.
This is after it has been claimed that the Blues management have agreed on a deal with Juventus to have Italian boss Maurizio Sarri join the Serie A champions.
Maurizio Sarri was employed as Chelsea boss in the last summer transfer window but his stay at the club has not been palatable for him despite winning the Europa League title and securing qualification to the Champions League by finishing third on the league table.
Now that he is reported to have agreed on a deal with Juventus, while the Italian outfit have also agreed to pay £5 million for the former Napoli boss, there is a need to bring in someone new.
It is now looking clear that Derby County boss Frank Lampard will emerge as he is the number one target of the club.
He has got history with the club as well as a good knowledge of the culture at the Stamford Bridge. That has been seen as an asset that will help him on the job.
Frank Lampard has gained needed experience with Championship outfit Derby County but he would face a bigger challenge as soon as the mantle is handed over to him.
Chelsea ensure this player stay with new deal
Latest reports according to Foroyaa.com hint that West London outfit Chelsea have succeeded in keeping 20-year-old midfielder Joe Colley at the club for more years as they have handed him a contract extension.
The Swedish international’s deal with the Blues team runs out at the end of June but there is a bid by the club to keep him with the hope that he will break into the first team in the nearest future.
However, it is expected that Joe Colley would be loaned out of the Stamford Bridge as it is sure he would be able to beat the competition in the team for a first team football.
Such scenarios are known to be a tough one to make by young players because of the wish to be stable and have playing security even when they move on loan.
However, Foroyaa reports that Joe Colley will sign a new deal and then move on to the Championship on a loan spell.
Joe Colley is not the only Chelsea youth player that would be handed a new deal but they will be made to move out on loan to continue their progress knowing that they are yet to be ready for Chelsea.
Chelsea legend names “new manager” wish for next season
West London outfit are on the verge of losing their Italian manager Maurizio Sarri in this summer transfer window as his move to Italian Serie A outfit Juventus is already being finalized.
A lot of names have been linked to replace the former Napoli boss with Frank Lampard also linked, but the Blues hero Gus Poyet has a different opinion as he wants the Italian boss to keep the job for another year.
According to him, Maurizio Sarri has done very well with his Sarriball and also helped the club qualify to the Champions League as well as delivering the Europa League title in his first season in England.
The Chelsea legend argued that the two parties do not look ready to part ways but the manager is only being frustrated by the criticisms on the job that was allowed to go out of hand.
However, Gus Poyet said it would be a good opportunity for Frank Lampard to have a feel of the job, noting that he has got no option than to jump at it when it comes, but he must be prepared for the challenge as well.
Maurizio Sarri joined Chelsea in the last summer transfer window but it was not all smooth for him.
Chelsea warned about sitting on the fence for star player’s deal
West London outfit Chelsea are reported by Evening Standard to be unsure about sealing a permanent deal for Mateo Kovacic in this summer transfer window and they have been warned not to make the mistake of losing him.
Mateo Kovacic’s owners Real Madrid have already sent words to the Premier League outfit, informing them that they have until month end to make a decision on signing the player on a permanent deal or otherwise.
Mateo Kovacic spent the entire season with Chelsea on loan after failing to secure a regular playing time with the Spanish giants.
He did not have all games to himself but he can boast of a level of appearances with the Blues team where he was impressive and proved his quality as well.

The Blues team are under a transfer ban which means they will not be able to register any new player. The presence of Mateo Kovacic will do a lot.
