Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger has made it clear that he will not accept the insinuation by pundits that his side are failing to win games because of the “Sarri Ball” playing style of manager Maurizio Sarri.
The West London outfit Chelsea boss has been under fire especially after his side were defeated 2-0 by Man United in the FA Cup with speculations that the Italian boss will be sacked in coming days especially as he faces a lot of criticism.
Maurizio Sarri joined the West London club in the last summer window from Italian Serie A outfit Napoli and immediately introduced his playing style and tactics which was hailed by many especially after having some successive wins at the start of the season.
With the story turning around, Maurizio Sarri’s tactics have been blamed for the defeats by pundits and he is being accused of being too rigid admitting and reeling out instructions to the players.
However, Antonio Rudiger is of the opinion that the Italian boss has nothing o do with the defeats suffered by his side as he claims that the problem with his team has been lack of confidence on the part of the players which has resulted to underperformance
