West London outfit Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has been linked with a return to the Stamford Bridge as the head coach of the team ahead of the coming season with the speculations that manager Maurizio Sarri might be sacked.
The West London outfit have suffered a number of embarrassing defeats this season which the fans and owner are not happy about while the team are still struggling for qualification to the Champions League with a top-four finish. They are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
It is, therefore, speculated that the Italian manager would be shown the way out at the end of the season with a number of names already mentioned and Frank Lampard has always popped up at each point in time.
It is suggested that the Blues will borrow a leaf from their rivals Man United to make do of a former player who already understands the culture and style of the club as head coach.
However, Frank Lampard has reacted to the claims as he noted in a fan forum on Wednesday that he cannot do much as he stressed that he had a 13 years spell at the club and he wished it ended.
He stressed that he is focused on his job as Derby County manager and will hope to continue ahead of next season.
