De Ligt told media outlet Esportes Interativo that his focus is on Ajax Amsterdam rather than the reports surrounding where he’ll be playing his future next season.
The 19-year-old been linked with a move to Premier League giants Arsenal as well as other major European clubs like French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Spanish champions Barcelona, German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Premier League champions Manchester City.
Ajax Amsterdam defender De Ligt set a record last year after he became the youngest captain in the history of the club at the age of 18.
The Ajax skipper is focused on matters on the pitch with the Dutch giants still with a chance of winning the league title.
Ajax are also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League where they will face Italian champions Juventus for a place in the last four of the competition.
