Premier League giants Manchester United are plotting a £250m raid on Portuguese clubs for three players according to widespread reports emanating from the British media.
It was revealed that the Red Devils want to sign three of the best young players in Portuguese football.
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United want to sign the trio of Joao Felix, Ruben Dias and Bruno Fernandes in a deal that could be worth £250m in total.
The three players have been attracting the interest of major European clubs due to their performances this term.
Joao Felix has been likened to legends like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Rui Costa.
The 19-year-old attacker has a release clause of €110m at Benfica having recently signed a new contract at the club towards the end of last year.
He has scored 10 goals and also provided five assists in 18 league games for Benfica this season.
His Benfica teammates Ruben Dias has been turning heads with his form for the Portuguese giants.
The 21-year-old centre back has been crucial to Benfica’s bid for the Portuguese Super League title.
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been in sensational form for his club this season and that has attracted Premier League sides like Manchester United to his quality.
