Chelsea are reported to be pleading with England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek to remain at the Stamford Bridge and to not seek a move away.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is believed to be unhappy at the West London side and seeking a move away in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks as he has been relegated to being a bench player without enough games under his belt.

It was reported that he could be on his way to Crystal Palace where he had a loan spell last season and has been told he is welcomed back with regular playing time.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek made his first Premier League start against Wolves this week where they lost and might not have any other opportunity to prove a point again.

However, the Blues are positive that the player will seek to remain at the club instead of pushing for a move away as he has been tipped to form a major part of the future at  Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are not going through difficult times having lost their last two away games in the Premier League against North London rivals Tottenham and Wolves.

The West London will now have to work harder if they must win the Premier League.
