Three Everton players that can haunt Chelsea’s Premier League ambitions

Subair Adams

As Chelsea travels to Goodison Park all eyes will be aiming to see if the visitors will pull off a massive result to get themselves well placed for European football next season.

If this happens (Chelsea’s win over Everton) it will be at the expense of rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

Both sides (the Gunners and United) will not be in action in the Premier League this weekend due to FA Cup engagements involving their Premier League opponents.

Chelsea can now capitalize on this situation to move into a comfort zone. However, this may prove not to be the case as Everton got quality on their own.

On this note, we take a look at Everton guys who can harm the visitors at Goodison Park.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (From the Midfield)

The Iceland International may be the guise the Everton side needs going into this clash vs Chelsea. Gylfi is an interesting personality on and off the pitch and this quality may be required to steer the Toffees above the Blues this weekend.

The player has scored wonder goals this season just like he got a brace to lift his side against Southampton. Chelsea can be made a victim due to some momentary lack of concentration they have shown in games like this.

This has been seen as Maurizio Sarri’s men were beaten 4-0 by Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth side away from home.

Richarlison {De Andrade} (Promising Attacker)

The Brazilian talent has been splendid this term for Marcos Silva’s Everton after his 45million move from Premier League side, Watford.

The starlet who spoke about his (special) admiration for International teammates Neymar (Jnr.) during Brazil Global Tour last year is a candidate for Blues destruction.

His goal scoring exploits have been well noted coupled with his brace on his full International debut against Sub-marine Nation El Salvador in Brazil’s 5-0 win last year.

This is why the Blues especially his compatriot David Luiz must keep an eye on him to curtail any possible danger from the player.

Theo Walcott (Former Arsenal Threat Now At Everton)

The English forward have found the net against the London side on a couple of occasions though not on Everton shirt.

This could happen in this match if Chelsea fails to dot the I’s and cross the T’s on the pitch. He’s been a massive investment at Everton since his move away from Arsenal.

He’s scored against Chelsea in four different venues (Principality Stadium, Wembley, Stamford Bridge, and the Emirates Stadium).

This looks likely as we await the glorious fixture between these two sides.
