North London giants Arsenal will revive their interest in Belgian international attacker Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco according to reports emanating from the British media.
Carrasco plays his club football for Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang at the moment having joined them from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid in February 2018.
The Daily Express revealed that the Gunners want to sign the player in the summer having failed to secure a loan deal for him during the winter transfer window.
It was revealed that Arsenal would like to sign the 25-year-old as long as he’s ready to take a pay cut.
Arsenal tried to sign Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco in January on loan only for them to fail after they agree on a deal with his Chinese club.
Carrasco is keen to return to Europe after becoming disillusioned with life in China.
He was an integral part of the Atletico Madrid team that reached the 2016 Champions League final before they were beaten by rivals Real Madrid via penalties.
Carrasco scored for Atletico Madrid in that final as both sides played out a 1-1 draw after regulation time and extra time.
Apart from the Gunners, Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco was also linked with a move to the Italian Serie A duo of AC Milan and Inter Milan.
