Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has ruled out a summer exit from the club despite intense transfer rumours linking him with a move to a lot of major European clubs.
Rakitic told media outlet DAZN that he’s happy at Barcelona before adding that he wants to stay at the club.
The Croatian international midfielder also revealed that Barcelona stay is ideal for him and that his family is settled in Spain.
Ivan Rakitic has been linked with clubs like Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
The 30-year-old has been a key player for club and country, especially in the last decade.
Ivan Rakitic was part of the Croatia squad that reached the final of last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia before they were beaten 4-2 by the eventual winners, France.
Manchester United might have to pay at least £34m to secure the signing of Ivan Rakitic according to recent reports.
Rakitic signed for Barcelona from Sevilla in 2014 and he played a major role as the Blaugrana won the Champions League title in his first season at the club.
In addition to the Champions League title, Barcelona also won the Spanish La Liga title and the Copa Del Rey in that season.
Ivan Rakitic has just over two years left on his Barcelona contract.
