Premier League club Watford have emerged as the front-runners in the race to sign experienced winger Yacine Brahimi in the summer.
Yacine Brahimi plays his club football for Portuguese champions FC Porto at the moment.
The 28-year-old has previously been linked with a free transfer move to various clubs like Inter Milan and Arsenal.
The Algerian international player has less than six months on his current deal at FC Porto which will expire this summer.
Brahimi joined FC Porto from Spanish club, Granada, shortly after he impressed a great deal at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.
He was a key performer in the Algeria squad that reached the first knockout stage of that tournament before they were eliminated by eventual champions Germany.
The current status of the Hornets as favourites to sign Yacine Brahimi was revealed by dzfootball.
Brahimi was an important player for FC Porto as they won the Portuguese top flight title last season.
The Algerian has helped FC Porto to the top of the league this season in their quest to retain the title won in the last campaign as well as the knockout stage of the Champions League.
FC Porto will face Italian capital club AS Roma in the last 16 of the competition.
